If it is a matter of finding objects that are hidden in the room, I am
assuming you would have a 'command' word that the player would have to
figure out to find the object. What I have done, has been to have a
command wriiten on the room that should contain the object, and when the
players find the right room, and learn the right command to find the
hidden obeject, then the command creates the object for them on the
spot. This allows multiple players to complete the same quests, without
having to set objects dark, and/or have a bunch of them sitting in a
room and taking up DB. The object is created when it is found.

Subject: [Tinymux] Hidden Objects Discussion
I have an idea I would like to try on my game and would like to discuss
different ways it could possibly be done. I am running the most recent
MUX version 2.3.
A large focus of my game will be quests, do folks have a idea how I
could 'hide' objects in area's that players would have to hunt for?
Perhaps nesting items inside other items perhaps?
Your imput is appreciated!
Merrie
