A couple of things to check:



*  Check for any typos in netmux.conf, that everything is lowercase, etc.

*  Make sure the changes to the file were saved - I've made that mistake :)

*  Check what 'GAMENAME' in mux.config is set to. The default is 'netmux',
but if this has changed, then Startmux won't look at netmux.conf; instead
it'll look for a conf file named after what GAMENAME is set to.



finally:

*  Check the log file right after startup to see if it complains about
invalid configuration parameters.  This is the best place to look for
clues when things are not behaving the way you expect them to.
