The trace isn't showing anything unusual, the name substitution goes as
expected:
Works for me:
TestObject] @mail/quick %0/Test=test
TestObject(#299)} '%0/Test' -> 'tannus/Test'
MAIL: You have a new message from TestObject.
Doesn't work for test character named "1test":
+mailtest 1test
TestObject] @mail/quick %0/Test=test
TestObject(#299)} '%0/Test' -> '1test/Test'
(He doesn't receive a mail)
I've tried using * before the character name, both in the supplied
argument, and added by the code in the command. I've tried supply his
dbref instead of his name. I've tried coding it specifically to another
character rather than using an argument. Coding it to his dbref, name,
and *name, none of them work. I can @mail/quick these people when I do
it myself, so it's specific to having it sent from an object, even one
that is wizard inherit.
I tried @decomp'ing myself and loading everything on me onto the test
character to make him more or less a duplicate of me, minus the Wizard
flag. Didn't work.
Ok, here is a tiny amount of progress. I destroyed the test character,
did an @dbck to complete the @destroy, and then recreated him via the
login screen. Now the object will mail to him, or to me, but it still
won't mail to anyone else. Any suggestions are very appreciated.
