I can't reproduce it on Unix or Win32 anymore. Single-stepping through
the debugger did not reveal any unexpected paths or values.

Put the executor, caller, and enactor substitutions into a @pemit on
the same command and see if it changes between working and non-working
players. Give me an addy (privately), and I'll pop and and try to help
reproduce it on your box.
