You might want to consider joining a social builder MUX and learn to
code by playing on there. Or find a game you enjoy and work your way
into the staff, getting some hands on game development experience. There
are a few guides around the net like Javelin's and Amberyl's that are
mostly valid, and you can learn a lot just by reading those, the in-game
help files, and experimentation.
