I'm not sure it'd address that problem, unless your firewall is filtering 
based on protocol, rather than port. If you're only permitted to establish 
outgoing communication to a server at port 22, you still won't be able to 
get to the ssh-based mux listening on 4201.

If you're limited that way, then you could do ssh tunneling to get to your 
target:

Or you could do what I do, and ssh to a machine at home running tf in a 
screen session.

It would also be useful for those of us behind firewalls that are allowed SSH
but not telnet. :)
