My development machine is Windows XP, and I've tested TinyMUX 2.6 on
the 64-bit edition of Windows XP as well. Strangely, I haven't tested
on Vista, yet. So, the expectation is that TinyMUX 2.3, 2.4, and 2.6
will definitely work on XP.

I have my firewall turned on. When I run ./Startmux from a new
location, the firewall brings up dialog asking whether it should block
or unblock netmux from opening a port. You should answer that it
should unblock netmux.

Maybe ZoneAlarm has it's on way of blocking things, and I'm not
familar enough with ZoneAlarm to describe how to block or unblock
programs from listening on ports, but important list in XP's firewall
is found under Control Panel, choose the Firewall, and go to the
Exceptions tab. If you remove netmux from that list, the next time it
launches netmux from that location, you should see the block/unblock
dialog again.
