General PS:

My Windows version launches a "DOS box" command window when TinyMUX
starts up. Do not close that window using the X - if you do, your MUX
shuts down again.

That probably wasn't necessary as a warning, but it suddenly occurred to
me there might be another reason you're struggling to connect :) Pardons
in advance if that was a no-brainer for you. :)
