From TinyMUX

  • TinyMUX 2.7 Alpha development has begun.
  • TinyMUX 2.6 is in Beta.
  • TinyMUX 2.4 was released on August 3, 2006 and is holding up well.

Some areas of development are experiencing more activity than others: Wiki content, doxygenation of the sources, SQL, fixing level 4 compiler warnings, static analysis warnings, and workarounds for deprecated functions.

Visual Studio 2005 has deprecated close, fopen, fscanf, getpid, localtime, open, read, sprintf, sscanf, strcat, strcpy, strerror, strncpy, tzset, write, _controlfp, and _vsnprintf.

  • While TinyMUX 2.4 builds on 64-bit Unix boxes like Tru64, AMD64 and EMT64T Linux and FreeBSD, it will not build under WIN64.
  • The TinyMUX 2.6 builds and run natively on WIN64 with either the 64-bit version of Visual Studio 2005 or with the 64-bit version of the Intel 9.1 Compiler. A pre-built AMD64 binary is included in the Win32 distribution.

Debian 'Etch' is coming up in December 2006. A version of 2.4 was included, but not the most-recent version.
